MySQL Vs SQL Server Vs Oracle

Sequence :
In MySql and SQL Server there is no object named as “Sequence” whereas you can find the the same in Oracle.

Syntax of Oracle Sequence.

create sequence sequence_name
MINVALUE value
MAXVALUE value
START WITH value
INCREMENTED BY value
CACHE value;

Example

create sequence user_id
MINVALUE 1
MAXVALUE 1000
STARTWITH 1
INCREAMENTED BY 1
CACHE 20;

You can use this object like this

insert into user_mst(user_id,user_name) values(user_id.nexval,’Rahul Neekhra’);

In MySQL and SQL Server you can not find the object named as “Sequence”. Instead of this there is auto increamented functionality available.
If you want to create customized sequence. You can have another way.
